The mastermind behind Drawing Airplanes, Luke crafts lyrics and song structures that make him a wanted man. As president of the band with no balance of power, Luke also has full say on band vision, wardrobe, and M&M color selection.
James plays lead guitar and draws the airplanes, and used to do so on his guitar during performances, upside-down and reverse in marker. He wasn't upside-down, but his viewpoint to the illustration was upside-down... nevermind. You try drawing on a guitar while on stage.
Herman's versatile musical background comes alive in all forms of percussion. His most lethal weapon of all? Silencing the crowd with his endless, pun-filled jokes.
Ross keeps the band together with his timing on the bass. He also brings the unique ability of being the only band member that looks like he belongs in a band.
Eddie lights up the stage on accordion and keyboard. The original name of the band was going to be "Eddie G and the Tallywackers", but that was already taken.
Our first full-length album is available on Bandcamp, a great service which supports artists like us. Sweet album artwork included with purchase.
